I love Disney movies.
They contain important messages with deep meaning. It is my firm belief that if people stuck with these messages throughout their lives, the world would not be where it is today.
We occasionally find, however, a person, a team, or even a company that carries with them the beautiful concepts we first discovered through Disney productions.
One of those concepts is the greatness and power of a family.
The blockbuster film Lilo & Stitch of 2002 gave the word family a whole new meaning.
According to Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders’ script, the concept of “Ohana” needed to be spread across the globe.
If you look up on Wikipedia it says: ʻOhana is a Hawaiian term meaning “family” (in an extended sense of the term, including blood-related, adoptive or intentional). The term is cognate with Māori kōhanga, meaning “nest”’.
Throughout the entire movie, the main character Lilo, an orphan girl being raised by her older sister, struggles with her life without her parents and not fitting in with kids around her age.
Somehow (I’ll not spoil the movie for those of you who haven’t seen it yet) an alien creature lands on earth and Lilo takes care of it thinking it was a dog.
Of course, the creature is nothing like a dog. Contrarily, it’s an ugly, blue creature that’s much more intelligent and aggressive than a normal pet.
Despite all the twists and turns in the plot – and the amazing presence of Elvis Presley’s music that is a boost to the story – the plot always comes back to the concept of Ohana.
After everything pointed to Lilo getting rid of Stitch (since it’s mean and dangerous for her), the little girl recognizes the alien’s heart and reminds everyone not to give up on their family once they’ve chosen them.
As it is written in DeBlois and Sanders’ script: “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”.
Klever’s Ohana
Klever was my first introduction to the crypto world. I do know, however, that many people do not have the same introduction to it as I did.
Sometimes, this world can be very confusing, and navigating those waters alone can be scary.
That’s why when you have a community you feel more relaxed because the members can answer your questions, help you and instruct you when it’s necessary.
But there’s a moment when this community grows stronger, that calling it ‘community’ – even though that’s already a pretty strong word – does not fit.
When the bonds get tighter and people connect, not only helping each other but embracing and believing in one another it starts to go beyond community terms.
It is family – better yet, Ohana.
Like the Disney movie from 2002, in Klever, we never left anyone behind or forgot a single person that got involved with us.
As the character Lilo, we don’t reject misfits or people who feel they don’t belong to a world like the crypto one. We don’t let go when you can’t understand something or even if you have never been into technological or financial matters.
We do not give up on you or anyone in our family because we believe every human being has potential that can be realized if they open their minds to the future.
Either with the members of the family that use our products or with the brothers and sisters that work every day to make sure this family only gets better and stronger, we all want everyone to thrive and be more independent and productive financially.
And this attitude is clear in all our products as services.
Never left behind or forgotten
When we make something you can use easily, safely, and effectively, we are offering you a tool that will allow you to reach your full potential.
We believe in you. Our decisions are based on your trust.
We want the power to be in your hands and we want you to grow more and more.
It’s not just a wallet; it’s not just an exchange; it’s not just a blockchain. It’s a possibility. An opportunity. We will not let go of your dreams the same way we don’t let go of you.
That’s what we want you to know at the end of this 2021 cycle: we do not design products and services only for money’s sake. We make this for our Ohana. Klever wants to lift you up and even in times of doubts and lows (we know that this can happen in the crypto world, right?), we will be there bringing you more content, more answers, more knowledge so you feel safer and more confident.
And if you still don’t feel like you’re from our family, I’m writing this just to reinforce:
You are. Even if you use only one product, or even if you haven’t used any of our services yet – you’re already part of this if you follow us, read our contents, talk about us on Twitter (that’s much like a family dinner table, don’t you agree?) or just watch us from afar.
The family knows no boundaries and has no formal rules. You can be the distant cousin if you will (we’ll talk you in, soon enough). The fact is: it really does not matter how you are a part of Klever. The important thing is that you believed, somehow and in some moment.
That’s why we won’t let go of you.
“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”, remember?
And just one more piece of advice: don’t forget children’s movies’ messages. It can be everywhere – even in a financial article about crypto.
So, enjoy your holidays, and always remember that your Klever family will be around.
