Whatever you do, consistency in doing what you love will motivate you to achieve greatness.
In recent years, many people seem to be struggling with their career paths as they are forced to work with what is available or settle for something less than they had anticipated. Brilliant minds find this demoralizing, as they tend not to be satisfied with what they have or do.
What is your passion?
Passion may be a bit tricky to define, but we all recognize it when we see it, whether in ourselves or in others. Passion is what gives you boundless energy, intense almost single-minded focus, and the willpower to overcome even the most daunting obstacles. In the past and present, great inventors have demonstrated that passion is the drive to push forward towards a goal.
Passion is what drove Steve Jobs to build Apple and Elon Musk to head not only Tesla but SpaceX and The Boring Company. By defining your passion, you can put it to work in building your business or career. It's likely that you can find a way to reconnect with whatever passions made up part of your past. When you apply determination and diligence, you can even turn them into business opportunities.
What if you wanted to collect books? Well, people buy, sell and review books for a living, and perhaps you can do the same as well. Were you a passionate writer in your youth? Professional writers earn part or all of their income from the comfort of their homes as the world becomes increasingly decentralized and remote.
In addition, if you are also artistically gifted, this can also open doors in the current NFT markets and subsequently the metaverse.
Trying to find your passion or being unsure about what you want to do may mean you have lost some spark along the way.
You can reignite your passion by taking some time out for some personal restoration. The amount of time and resources you can spend recharging will depend on your circumstances.
You might be able to take time and enjoy a few yoga classes or occasional "mental health days." You may have an opportunity to spend a week visiting friends you haven't seen in a while or even spend some time on a vacation retreat. Consider how you can use a bit of downtime to reflect on where you are and where you would like to be as part of the process of self-discovery.
There's an old saying that if you do what you love, you won't ever have to work a day in your life, because it practically becomes a part of you. But in reality, not every business or career is driven by a deep-seated passion. Often people work because it is a practical necessity, but they don't love what they do. They simply grind the hours to make a living.
Business and work life are the same, especially in the blockchain and cryptocurrency areas, a sector that has demonstrated a high level of passionate followers and career paths that has changed many lives worldwide.
