What is Shiba Inu (SHIB)?
Long ago, there lived a dog named Shiba. A shiba inu was that dog, and millions of people around the world invested money in tokens with its image on them.
Shiba Inu touts SHIB as a "DOGECOIN KILLER" and a listing on their own decentralized exchange, ShibaSwap.
As a result of its cute charm combined with headlines from such personalities as Elon Musk and Vitalik Buterin, the meme coin quickly gained value and popularity.
The Shiba Inu mining algorithm is intended to be a Dogecoin counterpart to Srypt's mining algorithm. In addition to Shiba Inu and the SHIB token, JINDO INU (JIND), Alaska Inu (LAS), and Alaskan Malamute Token (LASM) also feature dog themes. There are a number of lesser-valued tokens attracting investors who missed the rise of Dogecoin from 0.0002 to nearly 0.75 USD.
The largest crypto exchange in the United States, Coinbase, listed Shiba Inu on their platform on Sep. 17, 2021. Over the following two days, Shiba Inu price rose by over 40%, once again bringing the meme dog token to the forefront.
As part of its expansion into the NFT market, SHIBA INU is inviting dog-inspired artists from all over the world to foster the "artistic Shiba movement."
Additionally, the Shiba Inu Rescue Association has set up a campaign through Amazon Smile for collecting donations to help rescue Shiba Inu dogs.
