Klever Wallet is a secure crypto wallet which supports several blockchains including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Binance (BNB), Tron (TRX), Litecoin (LTC), Dash (DASH), Dogecoin (DOGE), DigiByte (DGB), Syscoin (SYS), Reef (REEF) and kusama (KSM).
This tutorial illustrates about how to restore your Klever Wallet in case you reset your wallet or you got a new device. In order to restore your Klever Wallet you need the 12-words SEED of your wallet obtained when you have created it in the first time.
Step 1
Download Klever Wallet from Google Play or App Store using the links below
Step 2
Install and open the app. Then, after carefully reading the Privacy Policy you have to agree on it. Once done, tap on Continue button.
Step 3
Tap on Restore Wallet button to restore your wallet using its 12-words SEED. Then, enter same PIN code twice. You have to provide this PIN code every time you open the app or make a transfer. However, the PIN code is not the key of your wallet. PIN code is used to encrypt your wallet SEED and keys on the used device.
Step 4
Enter the 12-words SEED in the correct order. Then, tap on Restore button. After, you will get a warning that this process will erase all app data from the used device. So, please make sure that you have backuped the current Accounts configured inside Klever Wallet app, if any, before you proceed and tap OK.
Please follow the following tips while you are typing your 12-words SEED:
- All words are from this list: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039/english.txt
- All letters are lowercase. No capital letters at all.
- No numbers at all.
- No space before the first word and no space after the last word.
- Avoid multiple spaces between words.
Step 5
In the last step you can enable the Biometrics option instead of using the PIN code every time. After a successful restore you will see the Portfolio screen. Note, this will restore only your Main Account for each blockchain. To restore additionally created Accounts or Accounts imported using Private Keys you have to click on (+) sign from the upper-right corner.
